Valuable guided environmental tours for local residents

I have benefitted from tours appreciating the work of local groups and council ecologists to places I would not have known about or would not travel to on my own, by virtue of representation of Friends of the Earth.

I would be happy to pay for my to travel on guided tours in small groups to celebrate and learn from our wonderful countryside. I think that if more people had this opportunity, it would enhance their living experience and value of where they live, and how they can be informed and to understand what we can do to preserve and enhance it.  

Why the contribution is important

To educate, help to value, preserve and enhance where we live, and to pass this on to future generations.

    Thank you for contributing this idea. Tours such as these could raise awareness of what we're already doing to reduce the impacts of climate change locally.

    I love this idea . The Tours should be available for all age groups - including school children - everyone needs to value what is around them...educate about CO2 emissions, the role of trees and greenery, etc.
