Review Bus route duplicity
Many bus routes are duplicated I.e. The Cwmbran bus x24 runs every 10 minutes, they are followed almost immediately by an Anslow bus so as one stops & picks passengers up the next bus following stops at the next stop & collects passengers there, this is repeated all day long. Neither bus is ever full, I question whether both services are needed in such frequency & also wonder why the don't cover separate times I.e. one in the hour one on the half hour. This would significantly reduce pollution, road noise & traffic congestion
Why the contribution is important
It would save the government money as many passengers are OAP's or students hence subsidised. It would significantly reduce pollution, wear & tear on the roads, reduce traffic congestion & road noise
