Recycle in schools, let children understand that different bins are for different products. teach them the value of putting rubbish in the bin.

Why the contribution is important

These are the future generation that can recycle efficiently, and teach the correct way to dispose of rubbish to others.

Kids need to be introduced to recycling as early as possible.

Education is at the heart of all of this and if parents are role modelling the correct behaviours then unfortunately the schools have to step in. Get speakers into schools from the local recycling centres to share news of what is and isn't recyclable, and why rubbish should be disposed of appropriately. Share footage of litter in the sea and let children know that anything thrown into a river will eventually head that way, etc, etc. My children already know this, but others seem clueless. The school needs a variety of bins for rubbish - including crisp packet and sweet wrapper collection points.
