Put more on social media

Use the power of social media to try and track down flytippers. Don't hide it away. I met a lady last week who literally watches a man flytip black bags (in BG) and has done NOTHING about it. Probably because she believes nothing will be done or where to report it. She does now, but educating people about what they can do if they see someone flytipping is paramount. It is a cheap and effective way to get the point across.

What about litter picking equipment being made available somewhere in every town?

Why the contribution is important

Because we need a small army to stem this scourge, communities can do amazing things with the right tools.

Using social media to send out the message that it is a criminal offence to drop litter which will incur a fine and community service in the form of litter picking as payback to the community.
