Dog waste bins and recycling bins on cycle track

Add a bin with recycling sections and dog waste bin to every exit / entrance to the cycle track (the line) as there is forever full dog poo bags scattered across there and little mainly bottles. It would be nice to see it free of these things. Ideally people would take there waste home but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Why the contribution is important

It would encourage people to hold onto there waste until passing a bin hopefully where they can dispose of their waste properly instead of littering. It would also make walk on the cycle track a nice experience and safer for wildlife and children.

The cycle path and canal are both large dog walking areas within Griffithstown/Pontypool. There are not enough bins or variety of bins along these routes to encourage the disposal of litter and poop collections. I have said this under another thread - I appreciate that it will require more pubic bin collections and money - but we need more than there are currently to initiate change.
I have this morning walked my dogs along the canal beyond the new housing at the top of Bevan's Lane - no bin for a mile. I collected Greggs coffee cups, crisp packets, plastic food packaging and empty drinks cans - all quite dangerous to the local wildlife plus an eyesore. This is what happens when there are no bins. Obviously mass education of the public is also required but more visual bins needed asap.
